About the Foundation

The Walter C. Hobson Community Outreach Foundation

Giving back to the community.

Continuing a Legacy of Service

The Foundation was established in honor of Walter C. Hobson to continue his lifelong commitment to Buffalo and its residents. His example of entrepreneurship, generosity, and community service remains at the heart of everything we do.

Through fundraising, scholarships, and community partnerships, we work to expand opportunities for young people and support a stronger future for the City of Buffalo.

A Family-Led Foundation

The Foundation is led by Walter’s son, Raymond Hobson, with the support of Jackie Hobson, Bonnie Hobson, Tina, Peggy, and members of the extended Hobson family. Together, they are committed to preserving Walter’s legacy and serving the community he loved.
