The foundation has been established in the name of Walter C Hobson to continue his legacy of supporting the Buffalo City community. The foundation aims to raise funds and make scholarships available to the young people in our community.

The Foundation is operated by Walter's son Raymond Hobson supported by wife Jackie Hobson, mother Bonnie Hobson and sisters Tina and Peggy and the wider family.

The foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) organization.
